An opening project of the Kagoshima Cultural Information Center (KCIC), this is a collaboration between the prize-winning (Kimura Ihei Photography Award, 2010) photographer Eiko Shimozono shimozono115.wix.com/homepage# and the planner Tomoharu Matsuda. Shimozono photographed 12 women and girls living in Kagoshima in keeping with an imaginary island of beautiful women conceived by Tomoharu Matsuda.

You will find posters for this event throughout the city and a large “Bijinto” banner in Art Gallery Minato, adjacent to KCIC.
